Workshop for medical staff
We invite you to attend an important training session on moving and positioning people with spinal cord injury (SCI). This is more than just training. It is an opportunity to understand your patients’ needs better, gain valuable practical skills, and share experiences with colleagues.
Why should you join?
- The knowledge that saves lives: You will learn about the latest approaches to caring for patients with OAB, including neurogenic bladder and bowel management, autonomous reflection, and other essential aspects.
- Practical skills: During the training, you will be able to master the techniques of transferring patients to a couch, in a car, and the correct use of a wheelchair. This is not just theory – you will have the opportunity to put these skills to the test in practice.
- Comfort and safety: We will show you how to ensure maximum comfort and protection for your patients and avoid complications related to mobilization and positioning.
- Development of professional competencies: The training will help you to improve your professional level and become a true expert in working with people with SMI.
Don’t miss this opportunity to join the community striving to develop the rehabilitation system!
This event is made possible by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development under cooperative agreement number 7200AA18CA00032 with Partnerships Plus, funded through September 28, 2018, and implemented by the JSI Institute for Research and Training under agreement number PP-EI-001 with Momentum Wheels for Humanity Ukraine. Active rehabilitation camp
Your road to independence can start here. If you have experienced a spinal cord injury and use a wheelchair, we invite you to take part in our 10-day Active Rehabilitation Camp. This is a unique opportunity to improve your physical and psychological health, learn independent living skills, and find new horizons.
The camp is based on the principle “if you have learned to live after an injury yourself, teach someone else”. Our instructors have gone through the same trials as you and now help others find their way back to an active life. They will teach you not only wheelchair riding and self-care techniques but also share their knowledge and experience.
After completing the program, you will be able to:
- Improve your physical condition by practicing various sports.
- Master the skills of using an active wheelchair.
- Gain valuable knowledge about preventing complications, personal hygiene, legal issues, etc.
Don’t miss the chance to improve your life! Apply for participation in the Active Rehabilitation Camp and take the first step towards independence and new opportunities.
