Hello! This is Uliana Pcholkina. I first came to Ukrainian Fashion Week as a hostess in 2011, and since then I have worked at the fashion weeks and attended them as a guest.
Over these years I have become friends with Volodymyr Nechyporuk, because for him and for Iryna Danylevska inclusion is not just a word but a philosophy. Bringing people with disabilities into the fashion industry and giving them a chance to find themselves — that is what Ukrainian Fashion Week is about.
In 2019 Volodymyr and I came up with the «Fashion Inclusia» project and set to work on it. That same year I took a fashion make-up course together with the other women and worked backstage at the fashion week.
I dream of every talented person who wants it having a chance to enter the world of fashion. For me personally this course is about opportunity and equality, because a disability does not limit talent.
