Then there was the leadership camp, which consolidated that knowledge and understanding that disability is a new opportunity in life.
And then the active history with GAR began, including the First Camp for Women, the first online camps during the quarantine period, writing the first grants, organising a rafting trip for people in wheelchairs, and working in various working groups.
And the most interesting experience was organising the camp itself, just like I went through as a participant! What I love most here is the constant development and growth!
Andrii has been a part of the Active Rehabilitation Group since 2010. Starting as a trainee, he has gained extensive experience, working as an instructor in swimming, table tennis, and currently in self-care and first contact.
Through international training and active participation in camps, Andrii has developed skills in teaching people with spinal cord injuries, focusing on mobility, daily life adaptation, and fostering independence.
His work is dedicated to empowering participants of rehabilitation programs to become confident, self-reliant, and socially active. Andrii exemplifies professionalism and commitment, ensuring rehabilitation is as effective as possible.
